Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty:
Outpatient Surgery Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8
hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required in the
intraoperative setting. License: Active nursing license required.
Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred. Must-Have: - RN
operating room circulator experience with a minimum of 1 year
circulator experience. - Competence with various surgical
specialties, including retina surgery, total hip and knee
procedures, hand surgery, breast oncology, breast reconstruction,
ENT procedures, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, and
podiatry. Description: Working hours are typically 6:30 AM to 3:00
PM and 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The traveler will work 5 days one week
and 4 the following week, totaling 72 hours over a two-week period.
The schedule includes 1 day off every other week. The patient
population served includes pediatrics to geriatrics. The staffing
ratio will be 1 nurse for every 4 patients. There are 5 operating
rooms, with an average daily census of 18. Floating is rare, but
RNs may be required to stay longer based on the number of cases in
progress. RNs are expected to work major holidays, with specific
guidelines for holiday scheduling. Full compliance with all
requirements is essential for an on-time start. References from
supervisory personnel are required. Candidates must be prepared to
submit necessary documentation within a specified timeframe. All
