Job Description:
MRI Technologist – MRI/MRA Schedule: Thursday – Sunday
Requirements: - License: GA or Compact license - Certifications:
ARRT (MR) or ARRT (R), BLS required - Minimum experience: 1 year in
MRI/MRA-heavy imaging - Unit accepts first-time travelers -
Charting system: Epic - Key clinical skills: - MRI/MRA expertise
(neuro and body) - Contrast media preparation/administration -
Diffusion, perfusion, T1/T2, gradient echo sequences - MIP, MPR,
ADC mapping, subtraction, spectroscopy - PACS and experience with
GE and Siemens systems - Peripheral IV starts Compliance / Notes: -
COVID-19 vaccine: Not required - Full compliance required to start
on time; noncompliance may delay start by ~2 weeks due to
orientation schedule - References: Two supervisory references
(manager or above) highly preferred - Maximum 7 days of requested
time off (RTO) allowed - If 1 major holiday falls in assignment,
traveler expected to work it; if 2, work both; if 3, expected to
work two (one holiday RTO may be reviewed)
