Job Description:
We're seeking an experienced CT Tech for a permanent role with
an area healthcare client where you'll be responsible for
accurately interpreting a physician's scanning instructions,
skillfully administering contrast materials, and expertly operating
CT scan equipment. Minimum Requirements: 1 year experience
preferred as a CT Technologist. Completion of a Joint Review
Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited
program in Radiology. Current American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT or Radiography as
applicable. BLS certification. Experience operating CT scanners,
transmitting images to PACS, and scanning documents into electronic
records. Experience scheduling patients and coordinating with
outpatient scheduling departments. Willingness to rotate CT call
and work varied 8-hour shifts as scheduled. Knowledge of computer
systems used in radiology and departmental documentation.
Compliance with state rules and regulations for medical imaging as
defined by ARRT, ASRT, and the Ohio Department of Health. Benefits:

Operate the CT scanner to obtain diagnostic scans within the scope
of practice for medical imaging as defined by ARRT and ASRT and in
compliance with Ohio Department of Health rules and regulations.
Review each examination for technical accuracy and ensure image
quality prior to transmission to PACS. Transmit images to PACS and
properly scan associated documentation into the electronic system.
Rotate CT call schedule and respond as required. Check expiration
dates on supplies and dispose of expired items per policy. Attend
department meetings with a target of 75% attendance. Schedule
patients in conjunction with the Outpatient Scheduling Department.
Maintain compliance with required RQI and other competency
activities. Assume additional duties and responsibilities as
necessary to support department operations. Location Highlights
