Job Description:
READY TO HIRE a Sous Chef or experienced line cook confident and
able to move up to take on more responsibilities. We're located in
a popular casual fine dining mountain lodge in the North GA
mountains. Qualities we're looking for are: strong work ethic,
focus on detail and quality of meals being served, passionate about
food, service and cleanliness, good communicator. We want someone
who is a team maker and loves what he/she does. SKILLS NEEDED:
knive skills, seafood, good temperature and portion contrrol,
outstanding plating, soups, salads, delegation and clear assignment
of duties, recipe development, time management, use of and
familiarity with grill, saute, fryer, sauce making, scratch
cooking, RESPONSIBILITIES: INCLUDE: assisting Chef with the
production of high quality meals, maintaining functionality of
equipment and work stations, assisting with employee training,
opening and closing of the kitchen, assigning and supervision of
cleanliness tasks, enforcing hygiene standards, assisting Chef with
inventory and ordering, works with the Chef to create seasonal
menus focused on using fresh local produce in creatively inspired
