Job Description:
Aramark is seeking a skilled Baker who is passionate about
crafting delicious baked goods while adhering to the highest
standards of food safety and quality. As a part of our team, you'll
have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive
environment that prides itself on delivering superior food service
and customer satisfaction. Prepare a variety of baked goods
including breads, pastries, and bespoke orders according to
traditional and modern recipes. Manage ingredient inventory and
request new supplies as required. Ensure that all food handling and
cleanliness standards meet or exceed health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to enhance dessert menus and expand
offerings. Adjust oven temperatures and baking parameters to ensure
each product is baked correctly. Monitor items during baking to
prevent charring or undercooking. Decorate, glaze, and apply icing
to baked products in line with quality expectations. Troubleshoot
and resolve baking issues and implement improvements. Keep
workstation and kitchen equipment clean and organized. Proficiency
in baking with a deep understanding of food production and food
safety regulations. Ability to work quickly and efficiently under
pressure without sacrificing quality. Creative skills in decorating
baked goods and adapting new recipes. Good numerical skills to
measure ingredients correctly and adjust the proportions as
necessary Strong organizational and time management skills. Medical
Insurance Certification from a recognized culinary institution such
as the American Culinary Federation (ACF) certification for pastry
arts is beneficial.
