Job Description:
Human Resources Generalist Atlanta, GA Job Summary: The Human
Resources Generalist is responsible for performing a wide range of
HR functions to support the organization's workforce and strategic
goals. This role covers key areas such as recruitment, employee
relations, benefits administration, compliance, training, and HR
policy implementation. Key Responsibilities: Administer day-to-day
human resources operations, including employee onboarding,
offboarding, and personnel record management. Support and guide
employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best
practices. Manage recruitment activities, including job postings,
screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Assist with benefits
administration, including open enrollment, employee questions, and
liaising with providers. Support employee relations efforts,
including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary
actions. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local
employment laws and regulations. Maintain HRIS systems and generate
reports on HR metrics such as turnover, engagement, and
performance. Coordinate training and development programs,
including tracking employee participation and feedback. Participate
in the development and implementation of HR strategies, programs,
and policies. Maintain employee confidentiality and handle
sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business
Administration, or related field. 2-4 years of HR experience,
preferably in a generalist capacity. Solid understanding of labor
laws and HR best practices. Experience with HRIS systems (e.g.,
ADP, Workday, BambooHR). Excellent verbal and written communication
skills. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal
skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain
attention to detail. Preferred Skills: HR certification (e.g.,
SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus. Experience in [industry-specific
experience, if applicable, e.g., healthcare, manufacturing].
Conflict resolution and performance management skills. Knowledge of
diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices.
