Job Description:
Position Description: The partner will be responsible for the
set up and support of desktop, laptop and mobile equipment for our
client. The Desktop Technician is to provide second line support
for all technical issues and is responsible for resolving support
requests as well as meeting customer satisfaction and continuous
service delivery demands. Preference will be given to those with
previous On site experience. This role is onsite. Your future
duties and responsibilities: • Installing, diagnosing, repairing,
maintaining, and upgrading all PC equipment. • The person will also
troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion. •
Smart hands function, performing tasks for remote Network or Server
support teams requiring local attention • Provide end-user
assistance where required. • Image workstations for new
deployments. Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Support, configure, and deploy desktop and laptop systems within
various levels of Windows and Macintosh OS. Including also mobile
on IOS and android. • Antivirus support • Configure and
troubleshoot hardware including printers, servers, network, and
mobile devices • Independently solve most desktop issues with
minimal supervision; escalate remaining issues to a higher level •
Support and maintain desktop applications • Create, update, resolve
and escalate support requests within a ticketing system •
Documenting, tracking, and monitoring the problem to ensure a
timely resolution • Provide feedback to internal and external
support teams • Create and maintain clear documentation on various
procedures of support • Communicate to client and a multi site
support team • Customer service oriented • Professional appearance
since this is a on site client facing role • Self-starter, ability
to work independently • Must be able to meet scheduled deliverables
• Team player • Dynamic • Autonomous • Resourceful Education •
Minimum education: High School Diploma and relevant experience.
College degree in a relevant discipline preferred or equivalent
work experience • A Certification or equivalent experience •
Network and Microsoft (Azure, InTunes) certifications are
considered an asset, although not required Other Information: CGI

estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination
of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set,
level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and
certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based
performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the
top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are
dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable
estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $34,900
to $57,500 annually. CGI anticipates accepting applications for
