Job Description:
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
practical experience. 6 years of experience with cloud native
architecture in a customer-facing or support role. Experience with
cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or
containerization platforms. Experience in programming languages,
debugging, systems design, prototyping, demos, or customer
workshops. Experience engaging with, or presenting to, technical
stakeholders or executive leaders. Preferred qualifications:
Experience in migrating applications and services to cloud
platforms. Experience with security concepts such as encryption,
identity management, access control, attack vectors, and pen
testing. Experience with networking concepts such as
software-defined networking, routing, virtual private networks,

and partners. As a Platform Customer Engineer (CE), you will
partner with technical Sales teams to differentiate Google Cloud to
our customers. You will serve as the customer’s primary technical
partner and trusted advisor, engaging in technical-led
conversations to understand their business challenges. You will
troubleshoot technical questions and roadblocks, engage in
proofs-of-concepts and demos, and architect cross-pillar cloud
solutions that solve these business challenges. You will use your
strategic acumen and presentation skills to engage with technical
and business leaders, and persuasively present practical and useful
solutions on Google Cloud. You will have excellent technical,
communication and organizational skills. In this role, you will
focus on identifying, pursuing, and winning new business workloads
and driving penetration within existing ones. You will have a
breadth of technical expertise, spanning infrastructure
modernization, application modernization, data analytics, and more.

problems. The US base salary range for this full-time position is
$127,000-$184,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are
determined by role, level, and location. Within the range,
individual pay is determined by work location and additional
factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant

Responsibilities Work with the team to identify and qualify
business opportunities, understand key customer technical
objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers.
Share enterprise infrastructure modernization expertise to support
the technical relationship with customers, including technology
advocacy, supporting bid responses, product and solution briefings,
proof-of-concept work, and partnering with product management to
prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption to Google Cloud.
Work with Google Cloud products to demonstrate and prototype
integrations in customer and partner environments. Guide customers
through assessments of existing legacy application environments and
provide recommendations on a prioritization roadmap for
infrastructure and application modernization. Recommend integration
strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application
infrastructure to implement a complete solution on Google
Cloud.
