Position Overview The Head Sew 1 is responsible for sewing buckram
into the top of drapery panels in a production environment. This
role ensures each piece is completed accurately and meets quality
standards. The work directly supports daily production goals and
on-time order completion. What you'll do Sew buckram into the head
of drapery panels using an industrial sewing machine Read and
follow work tickets for measurements and special instructions Move
joined draperies from racks to work tables for processing Inspect
finished panels to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met
Send completed draperies to the Head Prep department Operate sewing
machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently Maintain a clean
and organized work area Perform other production-related duties as
assigned All other duties as assigned Who you are High school
diploma or equivalent Previous sewing experience; industrial sewing
machine experience preferred Ability to read and use a tape measure
accurately General knowledge of fabrics and material handling
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with names, numbers, and
measurements Able to follow written and verbal instructions
Physically able to sit for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
Comfortable performing repetitive hand, wrist, and finger motions
Successfully pass a color vision test Dependable, focused, and able
to work in a fast-paced production environment What's in it for
