Preferred QualificationsPosition Summary This position is a data
science professional who performs computer programing, database
management, data analysis, data visualization, and develops
predictive analytics models to enhance and inform critical policy
and fiscal decisions for government and university clients. This
position serves as a technical team member on higher education data
visualization, data analytics, and forecasting projects. The
position will stay apprised of the rapidly changing technologies
and techniques to compile, analyze, and visualize data. This
position will have knowledge of data visualization software, R,
SQL, machine learning, and data management and extraction tools.
This position will have experience in applied statistical methods,
computer science and data modeling. This position is also
responsible for communicating data findings and model output to a
range of audiences both technical and non-technical. The data
scientist explores information from not just one source, but from
multiple sources in order to gain maximum insight that can give a
client additional insights to inform their decision making and
performance management needs. This position solicits feedback from
team members and clients for improvement of future services or

Duties/Responsibilities Manages large data sets and database
tables including the extraction, load, and translation
