About the College/Unit/Department The UGA Facilities Management
Division is the largest of 7 divisions reporting to the Vice
President for Finance and Administration. The exceptional staff of
over 800 personnel within the Facilities Management Division
manage, operate and maintain campus landscapes, buildings and
infrastructure to promote the long-term sustainability of the
University of Georgia.

Preferred QualificationsPosition Summary This position will
specifically report to Director of Facilities/Warehouse and Work
Request Center. The position also supports (2) work coordinators,
(4) staff in emergency call center, and the Associate Vice
President’s Administrative Specialist. The primary duties include
serving as office/department office manager, receiving customer
facility project initiation requests, setting up electronic
signature forms for project approvals, ensuring (professional,
timely, and accurate) information is disseminated to
staff,scheduling meetings with key customers, and providing meeting
notes/after action summaries. The position will also maintain
electronic filing systems.
This position also serves as the direct supervisor of FMD
Warehouse – Administrative Associate I.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies Business
classes or previous experience in business office.
Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
Ability to learn new computer programs.

Duties/Responsibilities Provide administrative support to Work
Request Center. Includes the following: Document creation,
Printing/photocopy and other related duties, Maintain calendar of
meetings/events, Order office supplies and order equipment.

oversee and direct work flow, Mentor and provide opportunities for
professional development and growth, Conduct annual performance
assessments as well as constructive feedback throughout the
