Staffmark is currently hiring for a Recycle Center
Attendant for Oconee County. This is a part time position. If you

Staffmark: Part-Time Recycle Center Attendant Position
Hours = 24 hours weekly with the occasional opportunity to work 40
or more hours.
Position requires the ability to work at any of our 11 recycle
centers located throughout the county. You must have reliable
transportation as our centers must be opened on time, and you will
frequently be required to travel to various centers.
Hours = 7AM 7PM. We are closed Wednesdays and Sundays. Occasional
Wednesday meetings take place 2-4 times per year. It is likely you
will have to work most Saturdays. Time off requests can be made in
Position entails assisting the public with recycling and disposal
questions, cleaning up recycle centers, operating weed-eaters,
blowers, and lawn mowers, picking up trash, assisting handicap
patrons with their garbage and recyclables, and opening and closing
the center. You will be working alone at our slower centers. You
will also be responsible for cleaning the Attendant building,
parking lots and common areas, and areas beneath and around the
compactors. The Recycle Center Attendant assists the truck drivers
during pulls of garbage or recyclables.
Steel toe boots are required and are your responsibility. Oconee
County will supply the rest of your safety equipment.
Part-Time positions are contracted through Staffmark. While on
Oconee County assignment, you represent Oconee County as an
employee of Staffmark. Oconee County does not make any offer or
