Job Description About the role: Manage Master Data entry, accuracy, and integrity within ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. Areas of focus included: Item Master/Item Branch integrity, Bill of Material Structure and Maintenance. Ensuring Planning parameters are set, Data Integrity monitoring and revision. Develop and maintain process (SOPs) for issuing, maintaining, and changing Master Data and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Provide and improve ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) functionality in the area of Master Data and Production Planning. Manage the MRP-run, including standardized Forecast/MPS upload and planning schedule across the Branch plants. Manage reporting, analysis and support activities within the supply chain organization and across the departments. How you will contribute: 1.Maintaining and Supporting Global Master Data standard. (5%) 2.Maintenance within Item Master and Item Branch plants. (15%) Perform Item Master Set-up Set up Branch Plant fields that shall be maintained for all Branch Plants. Maintain Branch Plant specific fields that are required in addition to standardized set-ups. Maintain control, maintenance, and accuracy of Master Data items. Ensure deactivation of obsolete raw materials. Perform Item Branch Master Raw Material set up review. Maintain Master Data accuracy/integrity measurement. 3.Bill of Material (BOM) structure. (30%) Ensure entry of new BOM structure complies with standardize (where applicable) Branch Plant requirements. Ensure control, maintenance, and accuracy of active BOM---s and associated items used in manufacturing operations. Ensure deactivation of obsolete BOM---s Perform annual Item Branch Master BOM review for accuracy. 4.Define and standardize Branch Plant requirements for supporting MPS and MRP. (15%) Establish clear data definition for the respective fields in the ERP system Maintaining integrity of the MRP system and associated process. Standardized Forecast/MPS upload and planning schedule across the Branch plants. Ensuring execution of MRP Planning activities are aligned with facility and divisional goals relative to sales and inventory levels. Perform MRP-run 5.Assure compliant documentation of Master Data in regards of SOX/GMPs requirements. (15%) 6.Support the collection, analysis and reporting of key metrics, and lead programs to improve performance Identify and lead continuous improvement projects within the Supply Chain department. (15%) 7. Work with Department Manager in the establishment and implementation of long-term growth strategies and execution of tactical initiatives. (5%) What you bring to Takeda: BS in Operations/Logistics or similar degree or 1 or more years related experience. 1 years of Supply Chain and Plant Operations experience required. ERP/MRP knowledge. JDEdwards enterprise system knowledge. Experience using project management methodology together with strong leadership qualities is essential. Must have a firm conceptual and practical understanding of supply chain operations, with emphasis on ERP Systems, Material Management, Bill of Materials, Inventory Controls and Product Flow. Creativity is a must, and the ability to work well with and motivate others. Systems knowledge required including Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. Must have passion to improve and achieve solutions. Must have uncompromising dedication to quality. Must have relentless focus on rapid and disciplined action. Must have respect for individuals and the diverse contributions of all. Working Environment Normal office environment. May be required to travel for business reasons related to job function May be around moving equipment and machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Inside working conditions. Will interact with other people. Requires close cooperation with a variety of manufacturing facilities and departments at all levels, including Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing and Finance Identify and resolve any Data Integrity issues Pace may be fast and job completion demands may be high. In this role, you may: Work in a controlled environment requiring special gowning and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body. This may include additional hearing protection for loud areas. Need to remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish and/or artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment. Work in a cold, wet environment. Work multiple shifts, including weekends, or be asked to work supplemental hours, as necessary. Work around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers and Celite that may require respiratory protection.
