opportunities. POSITION SUMMARY We are looking for an enthusiastic
Business Development Associate ("BDA"), who has a passion for
delivering winning results in a fast-paced organization. The BDA
will support their specified customer(s) to ensure sustainable
growth. He/she should have experience working with large
retailers/dealers and possess advanced communication skills
(in-person, phone, email, etc.) The BDA will ensure their
customer's experience exceeds expectations while helping to achieve
sales, and profitability for their assigned business. The BDA will
need to be comfortable working in a results-oriented company. Also,
the BDA should be able to clearly articulate how he/she can support
the company's efforts to improve from good to great. LOCATION:
Hybrid - Flex. Lavonia, GA, Mooresville, NC, or Montross, VA
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a key liaison and stakeholder for Carry-On's customers
to support all facets of the business from finding additional
opportunities within the customer, analytics on key sales trends,
manage orders and inventory, and respond to customer service
requests
- Serve as project manager to proactively develop and communicate
project overviews, timelines, status, metrics, etc., to align with
company strategic objectives and sales goals
- Data analysis will include reviewing customer order patterns,
out of stocks and regional demand to make suggestions regarding
opportunities to improve sales
- Regularly interact with customers including office visits and
phone calls to offer support and review growth opportunities
- Develop initiatives to increase sales with assigned customer.
Manage and routinely report on the initiatives to ensure successful
implementation and that we are on track to meet expectations
- Update weekly reporting and assist in regular performance
meetings with assigned customers
- Work across a broad cross-functional team to support the
planning and execution of business plans
- Lead data driven activities with your customer with an emphasis
on performance metrics
- Support and collaborate with other team members on marketing
initiatives, campaigns and ad hoc projects
- Collaborate with the management team and internal departments
to provide timely responses to Customers
- Work with a Director of Sales to draft, monitor and execute the
commercial sales strategy, sales plan and achieve sales target
- Support existing business, while assisting in the introduction
of new products and marketing opportunities
- Support daily corporate communication working with multiple
departments including Merchant, Supply Chain, QA department, Ecomm
etc.
- Support expansion of e-commerce model with each customer OTHER
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Understanding sales channels, tools, and analytics, necessary
to optimize performance
- Experience with large retailers/dealers is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple
projects
- Work well under pressure and effectively prioritize
responsibilities (time management)
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
- Heightened sense of urgency
- Strong Business Acumen
- Executive presence and comfortable developing presentations,
communicating plans and presenting at all levels
- The ability to analyze data to determine where to focus
resources to deliver the maximum growth potential
- Customer FocusQUALIFICATIONS
- B.S. degree or equivalent experience/education combination in
Business or Sales
- Strong Excel & Data Mining Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience
- Travel 10% - 20%
