In our continued transformation from a real estate company to a
customer experience company, we are seeking a Tanger Brand
Ambassador. This part-time position will report directly to the
Office Manager and includes working with the management team,
vendors, tenants, and shoppers.
About the Role:
As the Part-time Tanger Brand Ambassador you will provide
exceptional customer service to all shoppers and visitors of our
outlet shopping destinations by actively contributing to a complete
Tanger experience through meaningful interactions and value added
services, differentiating a Tanger center as a First-Choice
destination. This role connects with shoppers across the center as
a knowledgeable Tanger Brand representative, educating and
incentivizing shoppers on all Tanger benefits to drive TangerClub
income and brand loyalty, and promoting center marketing
initiatives.

So how can you contribute to what we do?
* Engage all guests across the center outside of Shopper Services
as assigned, driving consumer awareness providing a consistent
brand voice and creating a fun welcoming atmosphere by
authentically greeting every shopper, building rapport, and
engaging them in friendly and genuine conversation maintaining
Tanger's high standards of customer relations at all times.
* Develop and maintain expert knowledge of all center store
locations, amenities, local and national programs, promotional
offers, and event details in order to answer questions and provide
superior customer service to Tanger's shoppers and retailers.
* Achieve and exceed assigned sales goals actively promoting all
TangerClub program benefits to shoppers, including but not limited
to gift cards, stroller/wheelchair rentals, coupon books,
promotional items, discounts, and additional savings.
* Distribute marketing and promotional materials to shoppers.
* Build the center customer database by collecting and accurately
recording customer contact information in Tangstats.
* Use expert mobile technology skills to educate all shoppers on
TangerClub benefits and opportunities for additional savings,
sales, contests, events, and loyalty perks via TangerClub.com and
the Tanger Mobile App.
* Look for ways to proactively assist shoppers to ensure a
best-in-class shopping experience.
* Represent Tanger by actively participating in on-site and
off-site marketing events to promote marketing initiatives and
drive sales to include local, regional, conferences, trade shows
and other events.
* Accurately handle cash register operations, cash transactions,
reporting and inventory as needed, maintaining security of assigned
cash drawer and product inventory, accurately balancing cash
register at end of shift, printing all supporting documentation and
reports, and follow and complying with all prescribed relative and
PCI procedures for cash handling.
* Foster partnerships with our retailers by responding
appropriately to retailer requests.
* Assist center management team as needed.
* Drive operational excellence according to Tanger policy and
procedure by reporting center issues or concerns in a timely and
accurate manner to center management and in accordance with
policy.
* Perform additional duties or participate in other special
projects as assigned.

customers, retailers, employees.

Technical Aptitude:
* Ability to use and navigate current/emerging technology. This
includes mobile devices (mobile phones/iPads, tablets),
applications, and databases.
* Ability to run a cash register and process transactions with a
high level of accuracy.
* Ability to accurately use basic math skills and demonstrate a
high level of attention to detail.

* Ability to work outdoors promoting marketing initiatives designed
to drive traffic and generate revenue.
* Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business
needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
