GPAC is working with a series of companies in need of strong leadership of an asphalt paving crew. Must be have a Safety Mindset with First One There, Last To Leave mentality. Mechanical background will be reviewed to best guide the Team. While we provide life balance in our workplace, we do have the understood demands our industry is built for and will serve our community in efficient and timely manner. Night work, weekends and extended projects are to be expected.

If you apply be prepared to share with our companies how you have managed your crews, hiring new team members, managing crew hours, project quantities, on boarding new team members, model quality workmanship and above all the safety of our Team and equipment. Minimum of 3yr in the Asphalt Paving industry is required for these roles.

Asphalt Foreman Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate tasks and schedules for crew members
• Schedule crew members, and supervise the use of machinery
• Supervision throughout shift, ensuring safety, appropriate work stoppages, and organization
• Resolve problems with projects, materials, and workers as they arise
• Hire and manage staff
• Liaise with property owners and tenants.
• Order materials as needed.
• Ensure that projects remain within the allotted budget.
• Ensure that safety protocols are followed.
  Asphalt Foreman Requirements and Qualifications:
  
  • 5+ years of construction experience preferred
  • Familiar with Asphalt slipform operations
  • Comfortable with Asphalt construction procedures and OSHA guidelines
  • Blueprint reading, Asphalt finishing, and crew management
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Prior experience in a supervisory role.
  • Experience with construction.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
