Requires technical knowledge in the field acquired through an
apprenticeship, a 2-year degree, or professional certificate.

Position Summary
Tutorial services are services per grant requirements our TS
program will employ tutors to assist students with middle and high
school areas including assisting with home work, test prep, study
skills, etc. TRIO Talent Search academic instructor/in school
tutor/liaison to assist Talent Search middle and high school
students during the tutorial component of TS services.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
Demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of economically and
educationally disadvantaged youth.
Knowledge of Foreign languages, physical science, computer science,
compensation or math and interest in working with adolescents.
Interpersonal skills, sensitivity to the needs of the
disadvantaged, and commitment to the goals of TS.

Duties/Responsibilities
Instruction and tutoring in areas of middle and high school
academic subjects and study skills . Tutor students during or after
school assist with homework. Instruction and tutoring in areas of
high school math , science, English, physical science, foreign
languages and study skills. Assist with all classroom activities

progress and final grades each semester and at the end of school

Serve as a liaison for middle and high school administrators and
the TRIO Talent Search program. Connect administrators and staff
with TS program
