The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, founded
in 1946, is dedicated to training future veterinarians, providing
services to animal owners and veterinarians, and conducting

Duties/Responsibilities
Duties/Responsibilities
Responsibilities of these positions will include performing
multiple aspects of scientific research including experimental
design and execution, assay optimization and validation, data
collection and analysis, accurate experimental records, manuscript
writing and scientific presentation. Specific tasks include in vivo
or in vitro neurophysiological studies, in vivo Ca2+ imaging,
behavioral tests, tissue collection, confocal imaging,
immunohistochemical assays, and/or other tasks assigned by the PI
or based on the candidates' expertise or interest.

Duties/Responsibilities
Organize and assist in the implementation of project management.
Read and develop a basic understanding of research project
protocols. Maintain accurate records on every aspect of research
projects. Proper disposal of biohazard waste. Perform inventory.
Assist graduate students and other research personnel with their
experiments.

Professionally communicate with the supervisor, graduate students
and research personnel concerning the affected workflow, time
limitations, and project status. Maintain a positive attitude and
calm demeanor throughout stressful situations. Accept constructive
