Position Summary The Grateful Client Program Coordinator will oversee the creation, implementation, and management of the UGA CVM comprehensive grateful client fundraising program. The goals are to operationalize a program that builds a pipeline of grateful client prospects, engages clinicians, administrators, and others in the grateful client process. In addition, this position will manage a portfolio of leadership annual fund prospects. This position is "high touch" - which necessitates in-person communication with donors and prospects, attendance at appropriate conferences and events, and frequent local and regional travel. This position reports to the Senior Director of Development for the College of Veterinary Medicine. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies The ideal candidate will exhibit strong self-initiative; exceptional attention to detail and organization; professionalism; emotional intelligence; and well-developed listening skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills with a varied constituent base and the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects is critical to success in this position. Additionally, he/she will maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion and will be a part of the larger development efforts of the University of Georgia. Candidates will travel in and out-of-state, have flexibility to work some nights and weekends. Word processing; database management; email skills. Duties/Responsibilities Duties/Responsibilities With guidance from the Sr. Director of Development, develop fund raising strategies to actively engage grateful clients of the veterinary teaching hospital. Manage a personal portfolio of assigned prospect and donor relationships to advance the organization's mission through direct cultivation and solicitation of gifts in the range of $1,00-$25,000. Maintain donor cultivation and solicitation communications calendar for grateful client program. Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries and requests from both external and internal constituents. Field and respond to client and clinician inquiries relating to donation and fund related issues. Percentage of time50 Duties/Responsibilities Duties/Responsibilities Design methods to identify new prospects for the CVM by proactively gathering, interpreting, and analyzing data and responding to strategic requests from CVM development staff. Participate in daily review of inpatient logs, identify and rate prospects in order to build a pipeline. Respond to client surveys. Develop and oversee processes for successfully moving and updating grateful clients into development officer portfolios.
