And because you know your customers and their typical freight load, you'll never be surprised or slowed down by unusual shipments. CDL-A Dedicated Truck Driver Benefits: * Competitive pay: * $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified drivers through January 31, 2021! ($2,500 at 90 and 180 days) * Average $1,450 per week/ average $75,400 annually * Starting pay .50 cpm * Top pay .52 cpm reached within 2 years * Average 2,400-2,800 miles per week * $25 stop pay * Stops vary depending on dispatch * Detention, layover, and breakdown pay when applicable * Company sponsored per diem program * Weekly home time, with some mid-week home time * Routes run Sunday - Saturday * Deliver pet supplies to customer's retail stores in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, North & South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Florida * Make deliveries to customer's distribution centers in Garland, TX & Orlando, FL * Early morning and late afternoon dispatch * Some stores require driver to unload with electric pallet jack, some stores are no touch * Vendor backhauls are live load & 3rd party backhauls are live load/unload * When running local/ backhaul will make $22 / hour * Paid time off including 8 paid holidays (after 90 days) * Excellent insurance coverage that includes medical, prescription, dental, vision and hearing starting as low as $93.95/week for family plans and $36.95/week for individual plans * Company-paid life insurance and short-term disability benefits * Profit Sharing plan allows you to share in the rewards of our efforts, with a portion of our profits given back to you as monthly direct deposits into your retirement account * Referral rewards - cash bonuses for referrals * Averitt's fleet includes local, dedicated, and regional truck driver jobs.
