Job Description:
The Supply Chain Coordinator will provide high-level
administrative support to the Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) and
will manage and perform all operational procedures relating to
general office administration in support of the Purchasing and
Quality Assurance teams. They will oversee and manage the flow and
exchange of information, streamline interactions, and facilitate
initiatives on behalf of the Supply Chain department. This will
include handling complex travel logistics, responding to
information requests, and acting efficiently as a representative of
both the CSCO and on behalf of the Purchasing and Quality Assurance
teams at Zaxby's Support Center.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED
Receives direction from and reports directly to the Sr. Director,
Purchasin
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Essential duties may include but are not limited to the
following:
Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CSCO and
Supply Chain team: managing an extremely active calendar of
appointments; assisting in expense reporting; composing and
preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging
complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and
compiling documents for travel-related meetings
- Screen communications to the CSCO, with a particular focus on
email management
Provide a bridge for smooth communication between the CSCO's office
and other internal departments; demonstrating leadership to
maintain credibility, trust and support with all
- Organize internal and external meetings for the CSCO and Supply
Chain team, including notifying attendees, reserving conference
rooms, handling logistics, drafting and distributing agendas
Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously,
proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful
completion, often with deadline pressures
Liaise with Project Managers, Quality Assurance and Buying team to
provide product information and reporting as needed
Liaise with Franchisee and Company operators to field and resolve
issues related to the Uniform program
Support price notification market basket report outs
Perform preemptive price audits and post pricing audits to ensure
price accuracy to restaurants
Create and maintain vendor records, items and pricing contracts
within data system and vendor files
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT
Less than 25% required
QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and
PowerPoint
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate, both oral and
written, across all levels in the organization
Ability to multi-task with excellent time management and
organizational skills
Exemplify strong ability to be flexible, resourceful and make sound
judgments
Ability to maintain positive relations with internal and external
contacts
Proven administration skills, including proficiency in grammar,
spelling, composition, and proofreading
Excellent discretion and judgment in handling confidential data in
a discreet manner
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize workload without
supervision
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES
Education : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related
field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience : 2+ years of experience providing administrative
support or related experience/training
