Description:Description\:Will perform supervisory role for front
line Calibration Technicians assigned to all calibration and
certification related maintenance activities, site wide. This
position will serve as representative for the Plant Maintenance &
Engineering organization and is knowledgeable in equipment/device
calibration/certification, job plan and work order process for

- Act as liaison between group Managers, System Supervisors,
Quality Assurance team members, engineers, and maintenance and
craft team leaders in matters regarding the Work Order and Job Plan
processes.
- Expected to build high level of interaction with customers
developed through consistently being the subject matter expert by
providing high level of direction, tactical thoroughness,
reliability, strategic initiative and consistent follow-through.

- Oversees and supervises calibrations, qualifications, and PM's
with accuracy and timely GmP documentation, ensuring all team
members follow Corporate and site specific policies and procedures
in a safe manor.
- Provides guidance, direction, and effective solutions to team
members and area owners.
- Proactively takes steps to ensure equipment is handled and
maintained properly, as well as trains others in proper use and
handling.
- Responsible for accurate and timely scheduling, resource
allocation, proposal/quotation and requisition
development.Requirements\:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Associates Degree from an accredited institution
preferred.
- Eight-plus (8+) years combination of education, training, and
related experience.
- Project Management experience.
- Two to five (2-5) years of supervisory experience
preferred
- Expert knowledge and application of instrument, equipment, and
loop calibrations of various parameters in manufacturing, utilities
and laboratory environments.
- Exceptional Computer Maintenance Management (CMMS) skills.
- Develops and updates policies and procedures, understands and
interprets policies and instrumentation/calibration principles and
provides guidance to team.
- Thorough understanding and troubleshooting capability with
incubators, centrifuges, balances, refrigerators, freezers,
lyophilizers, stability chambers and other general lab equipment as
needed. -
- Displays excellent organizational skills.
- Communicates effectively.
- High level of Problem Solving/Decision Making
