Position Summary
This position will provide leadership to the Access Services area
to work with staff to ensure that logical access and change control
procedures are appropriately performed. This position will assist
in assuring proper attestation and compliance in regard to access
control processes. They will also assist in the development and
continued improvement of various processes such as Backup
Validation and Priviledge Access. Finally, this poisiton will
provide data pulling and analysis to various teams to review access
data.

Provide Leadership for the Access Services team.
* Provide primary leadership of the Access Services group to
improve access and security processes.
* Ensures processes and procedures follows security policies and
guidelines form UGA, BOR, State and Federal entities.
* Mentor and train staff on audit, logical security and
controls.
* Monitor projects and support tickets to ensure standards are
upheld and business needs are met.

Access Management
* Define and develop policies and procedures for system access
controls to ensure consistency, reduce rework, and improve
quality.
* Partner with system owners to advance improvement opportunities
for privileged access controls.
* Define and develop lifecycles of access for different types of
accounts
* Continually contribute to improve access controls to UGA
resources

Duties/Responsibilities
Assist in the creation and maintenance and auditing of access for
administrative campus clients who access the Financial
administrative data systems and for academic campus clients who
access the academic and financial data; maintain secure access to
those databases; reset passwords.
* Work with campus community to resolve logical access security
issues and provide database access as needed for system
development.
* Represent EITS System Support to the campus community through
telephone, ticket and email support.
* Work with the data custodians, HR representatives , business
owners, IT professionals, of the administrative data systems to
develop logical access security policies and address abuses of data
access privileges.
* Assist in internal and state auditing of logical access and
change control security for administrative data systems.

Build and maintain activities around compliance and control.
* Design, monitor and maintain the processes for change management
including moving objects to production and capturing approvals.
* Building access approval systems
* Assist staff in defining and documenting requirements for change
control and backup validation processing.
* Assist developers, system engineers, and IT professionals to
define processes, error reporting, track changes, and resolve
issues surrounding compliance and controls.
* The duties and responsibilities of this position require home or
off campus internet service as a job requirement and the use of
such internet service is for business purposes.

* Analysis and report to inform business process and decision

* Use data to assist in account access cleanups.

immediate supervisor.
