Job Description:

The main functions of the 2nd & 3rd shift Maintenance Technician will be to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment effectively and timely. Performs preventive maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdown and increase machine up time. Lots of overtime available. $1k sign on bonus paid at 6 months along with 40 hours PTO. 2nd & 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician Essential Functions:

• Troubleshoots and repairs machine malfunctions. Performs preventive maintenance.
• Locates and repairs electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems.
• Completes projects as directed (machine moves, modifications, installations; material handling; remodeling work area, etc.)
• Assists in the training of other maintenance personnel and production associates.
• Ensures that job functions maintain or improve product quality
• Performs Preventative Maintenance functions on equipment.
• Completes work orders satisfactorily and in a timely mannerMaintenance Technician Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school
  • Advanced education (Associate Degree) in related field or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Experience in ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 registered facility
  • 2 years experience as machine operator or maintenance technician
  • Experience with lathes, vertical drilling machines, centerless, and various other grinders is highly preferred
  • Forklift Operator Certification or the ability to obtain one
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing setting, standing, bending, stooping, lifting, pulling, pushing are requiredOther Information:
    • Works well in a team environment and accomplishes projects in a timely basis with acceptable workmanship
    • On-the-job or classroom training, including: hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, welding, and mechanical
