environment! POSITION PURPOSE: The position is responsible for
performance of daily and annually Preventative Maintenance tasks on
all Injection Molds and Mold Changeovers to meet customer demand.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES: Perform annual preventive
maintenance on Injection Molds. Disassemble, clean, replace wear
items and reassemble molds in a timely matter. Lubricate, per set
schedule, all areas on mold as required. Maintain documentation and
records required in preventive maintenance program and work
instructions. Maintain Tooling Inventory and keep work area clean
an organized. Complete purchase request for spare parts as needed.
Changeover of Injection Molds as required by scheduling. Perform
inserts changes to molds as required by scheduling. Document
performed functions in maintenance tracking system. Implement and
apply 5S Lean Manufacturing in Tool Room. Follow all safety
procedures and participates in Silgan's Safe/Unsafe Act program.
Ability and understanding on how to use Machine shop measuring
equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.) Observes safety and
security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses
equipment and materials properly. Complies with Good Manufacturing
Practices (GMP), Food Safety and HACCP Pre-Requisite Programs
related to activities performed for this position. Ability to
operate Injection molding machines Job Requirements Qualifications

Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general
education degree (GED); One (1) year of related experience in a
manufacturing environment. Skills and Abilities Mechanical aptitude
and problem solving ability required. Must be able to follow work
instructions and perform tasks in a timely matter. Physical Demands
