Our division is -looking for a Jr. Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast United States territory. -The successful candidate will demonstrate an entrepreneurial attitude and intellectually curious mindset combined with the appropriate process orientation, analytical skills, sharp focus, and a willingness to embrace change. They will be self-motivated professional with a strong desire to achieve personal and professional growth. The position reports to the VP of Sales and Marketing at Zalkin. -

  • Prospect, develop, and follow up on new accounts and maintain existing account relations in an ethical and profitable manner.
  • Promote and sell Zalkin capping machinery, solutions, capabilities, spare parts, service, and support and establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base. This includes development and execution of a regional penetration plan.
  • Perform lead generating activities, i.e., prospect, visit, call, email, attend conferences and tradeshows, network within the industries.
  • Use CRM to document all sales activity and to update opportunity status throughout the sales cycle.
  • Work closely with customers to ensure the meeting of all goals, objectives, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and communicate sales reports within Zalkin and ProMach.
  • Provide collaborative sales assistance to other company sales professionals within ProMach.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and negotiate contracts.
  • Achieve annual sales goals as outlined by leadership.
  • Develop and attend training and meetings as required by leadership.
  • Stay abreast of new technology, market developments, appropriate standard societies, and competitor offerings and keep current on trends from both market and technical standpoints.

    • Bachelor's or technical degree (Engineering/Technical preferred)
    • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
    • 1-3 years' experience in a sales or customer service role
    • Strong computer skills, CRM experience preferred
    • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
    • Fluency in French preferred
